Welcome to The Nest at Anstead — a warm, boutique Preschool where childhood is celebrated through play, connection, creativity and discovery. Nestled within nature, we provide a nurturing home-away-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. Our passionate educators create meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, imagination and kindness, helping every child spread their wings with confidence.
Learning
Learning at The Nest is guided by children’s curiosity, interests and natural sense of wonder. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, play-based exploration and real-world discovery. Our educators thoughtfully create engaging learning opportunities that support creativity, problem solving, communication, confidence and independence while fostering a lifelong love of learning. From nature play and science experiments to performing arts, literacy, creativity and inquiry projects, every day at The Nest is filled with opportunities to explore, imagine and grow.
Nature Play
At The Nest, we believe some of the most meaningful learning happens outdoors. Our nature play experiences encourage children to connect with the natural world through exploration, adventure, creativity and hands-on discovery. Whether climbing, gardening, collecting treasures, caring for living things, splashing in puddles or exploring our outdoor environments, children are given opportunities to build confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills and a deep appreciation for nature. We value unhurried childhood moments filled with fresh air, imagination and wonder.

At The Nest, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe children thrive when they feel a strong sense of belonging and connection with the people around them.
